Haha, Same.
I've been eyeing a 2004 Kawa 250 for $1,900. It's not very close to me though.
Plus I don't have a truck and one Suzuki 250 Bike is enough.

That's awesome.
I'm pretty big into bikes, always have been.
From a monetary standpoint, I haven't been able to get the Powah I want though.

Yeah an Sv650 would be a nice upgrade. Only a low mileage example, because commuter.

try the sv-riders forums for bikes.

well, in Ontario its not tht hard to find an older, slightly beatenup looking first gen for cheap.
one of the great things about the SV is that the motor in the secon gen is just the first gen with FI. and yes, you CAN convert it from carbs to FI. and, eve better, that motor is alused in the v-strom 650, and if there are any cheapskates out there when it comes to bikes, its them (aside from the KLR guys, but they are just nuts)
oh, and when isay cheap skates, I don't mean they skimp on oils changes and what not. but they get it done crazy cheap

Thanks for the advice! I'll keep my eyes out for one.
Adjusting from a 250 shouldn't be that hard I don't think.

go easy on it atlow speds for a little bit.
and keep an eye on ur speedo. what felt like 60mph before feels like 1/2 that beause thebike so effortless at getting there. I have cought myself doing 180 instead 120 km/h
